L’Oiseau Bleu is a neoclassical residence comprising 21 apartments, designed by Alexandre Giraldi with interiors by Jacques Garcia, located in the heart of Monaco’s Jardin Exotique.

A Site Steeped in the History of Boulevard de Belgique

Before becoming one of the Principality’s most coveted addresses, the site at 23 boulevard de Belgique was occupied by an imposing four storey villa. Built in 1954 at the request of landowner Maître Auguste Settimo, this residence, designed by architect Michel Ravarino, was demolished in 2006 following a ministerial decree to make way for a project of far greater ambition. Planning permission was granted at the end of 2005, and construction took place between 2007 and 2011. Architecture critic Jean Philippe Hugron perfectly captures the building’s impact on the Jardin Exotique landscape, describing it as a nostalgic return to the Belle Époque within what he considers Monaco’s most spectacular and unexpected architectural sequence, a building that seems to belong neither to the past nor to the present.

Alexandre Giraldi and Jacques Garcia: Two Signatures, One Masterpiece

L’Oiseau Bleu was designed by Monegasque architect Alexandre Giraldi, whose career began in 2001 and who is also behind the Tour Odéon. His neoclassical vision is reflected in every detail of the façade, with majestic columns, wrought iron balconies and soft pastel tones that blend seamlessly with the natural surroundings of the Jardin Exotique. The entrance halls were entrusted to Jacques Garcia, a world renowned figure in luxury interior design, known for his refined ability to balance tradition and modernity. In Monaco, Garcia’s signature is already well established through the Métropole Monte Carlo. Entrusting the common areas of L’Oiseau Bleu to such a name goes beyond decoration, it is a clear statement of the residence’s positioning at the very top of Monaco’s residential market.

21 Apartments, Absolute Exclusivity

The residence comprises 21 luxury apartments across 13 floors, with an average surface area of 450 sqm and one apartment per level from the fifth floor onwards. Layouts range from two bedroom apartments exceeding 200 sqm to a five bedroom duplex of over 1,250 sqm, with all units featuring private terraces offering panoramic views of the Mediterranean, Port Hercule and the Rock of Monaco. Interiors combine high ceilings, marble, fine woods and expansive floor to ceiling windows opening onto the sea. At the top sits a triplex penthouse of approximately 1,000 sqm. The residence also offers secure underground parking, a fitness room and a 24 hour concierge service.

A District Combining Serenity and Accessibility

The Jardin Exotique provides an ideal setting for a residence of this calibre. Its calm and peaceful atmosphere is complemented by family friendly amenities such as the Révoires school and the Princess Antoinette Park, as well as six public elevators that make it easy to reach nearby shops on foot. Although set slightly away from the bustle of the centre, L’Oiseau Bleu remains just minutes from the luxury boutiques, fine dining restaurants and cultural venues of Monte-Carlo. The district offers one of Monaco’s most valued qualities, a sense of tranquility within an environment of excellence, away from the crowds yet always close to the essentials.
