Le Mirabeau is a prestigious residence located in Monaco’s Carré d'Or. Built in 1973 and converted into a residential building in 2010, this 26-story tower offers high-end apartments with luxurious amenities and panoramic views.
An Iconic Tower in the Heart of Monte-Carlo
Le Mirabeau is one of Monaco’s most recognizable buildings. Located at 2 Avenue des Citronniers in the prestigious Carré d'Or district, this modernist tower rises 81 meters over 26 floors, making it the twelfth tallest building in the Principality. Designed by the architectural firm Acs, Natale, and Notari and constructed in 1973 by the Caroli Group, the tower embodies Monégasque architectural elegance. Its glass façade provides residents with breathtaking views of the Mediterranean, the Monaco Grand Prix circuit, including the famous Fairmont corner, and the entirety of Monte-Carlo.

From Luxury Hotel to Exceptional Residence
Le Mirabeau’s history is closely linked to Monaco’s development. For decades, the building operated as a luxury hotel managed by the Société des Bains de Mer de Monaco. The property was owned at the time by David and Frederick Barclay through their company Ellerman Investments. The hotel notably housed La Coupole, a Michelin-starred restaurant led by chef Didier Aniès. In 2004, the first renovation was carried out by architects Ivan Brico and Ange Pecoraro. Following the hotel’s closure in December 2007, J.B. Pastor & Fils undertook a major transformation between 2007 and 2010 to convert the building into a high-end residential residence. This complete renovation modernized the spaces while preserving the iconic character of the tower.
Luxurious Apartments and High-End Services
Today, Le Mirabeau offers spacious, bright apartments with high-end finishes. Residences feature large windows that flood interiors with natural light, marble floors, luxurious bathrooms, and private terraces with exceptional views of the sea or city. Residents enjoy five-star hotel-style amenities, including an outdoor infinity pool, a modern fitness center, 24/7 concierge service, and secure underground parking. The building also houses the Cipriani Monte-Carlo restaurant and the Monaco Foreign Residents Club, enhancing its status as a preferred residence for a discerning international clientele.
A Prime Location in the Carré d'Or
Le Mirabeau’s location is one of its main advantages. Situated between the Casino de Monte-Carlo and Larvotto Beach, the building is within walking distance of luxury boutiques on Avenue des Beaux-Arts, the Japanese Gardens, and the Monte-Carlo Opera. Residents have immediate access to prestigious establishments such as the Thermes Marins Monte-Carlo and the Principality’s renowned Michelin-starred restaurants. This exceptional location combines the vibrancy of Monaco’s urban life with Mediterranean tranquility, while 24/7 security and controlled access ensure safety and discretion. Le Mirabeau remains one of Monaco’s most sought-after addresses, a symbol of the Principality’s real estate prestige.
