Monaco Yacht Show 2025: highlights & visitor info

Every year at the end of September, the Monaco Yacht Show (MYS) transforms Port Hercule into a true floating showcase where yacht owners, shipbuilders, designers, brokers, and enthusiasts of prestigious navigation meet. The 2025 edition promises to be exceptional: over 120 superyachts and megayachts will be presented, nearly half of them unveiled as world premieres. Between technological innovations, cutting-edge design, and sustainable initiatives, the show confirms its status as an international benchmark for luxury yachting.

In this article, we take a look at the major new features of the 2025 edition, its highlights, as well as practical information for visiting the show, and some useful tips for Monaco residents directly affected by access and traffic restrictions.

An exceptional fleet for 2025

At the heart of the show is, of course, its impressive fleet, moored along the quays of Port Hercule. In 2025, more than 120 vessels ranging from 25 to 100 meters will be presented, featuring prestigious shipyards such as Feadship, Benetti, Lürssen, and Heesen.

Nearly half of these vessels will be unveiled as world premieres, offering visitors a unique opportunity to discover the industry’s latest creations. Between reimagined classic yachts and new futuristic concepts, the show serves as an unparalleled showcase for the global market.

Blue Wake™: sustainable innovation at the heart of the show

Aware of environmental challenges, the Monaco Yacht Show launched the Blue Wake™ program in 2024, returning this year with even greater ambition. This space is entirely dedicated to sustainable solutions in yachting: hybrid and electric propulsion, alternative fuels, eco-friendly interior materials, emission reduction systems…

Visitors will be able to meet innovative players and discover how the industry is adapting to environmental expectations while maintaining its level of excellence. A Blue Wake Award will once again be presented to reward the most outstanding initiatives.

The Monaco Yacht Summit: anticipating the future of yachting

Ahead of the official opening of the show, the Monaco Yacht Summit will bring together investors, shipowners, and experts for a series of conferences. This program will address the sector’s strategic issues: market developments, trends in chartering and construction, international taxation, and environmental challenges.

It is an unmissable event for those who not only wish to admire the yachts but also to understand the dynamics of a global market in full transformation.

Thematic areas and immersive experiences

The MYS is not limited to vessels. It also offers several thematic areas, each designed to enrich the visitor experience:

  • Yacht Design & Innovation Hub: dedicated to naval architects and design studios shaping the yachts of tomorrow.
  • Adventure Area: showcasing the most spectacular equipment and water toys, from private submarines to electric jetboards.
  • Upper Deck Lounge: an elegant space combining lifestyle, jewelry, and high-end furnishings.

These areas allow visitors to immerse themselves in the complete world of yachting, far beyond the vessels themselves.

A cultural and committed program: between art and the ocean

Among the cultural highlights, the 2025 edition will feature two main events: the exclusive photo exhibition “Tribute to Yachting” by photographer Guillaume Plisson, offering an artistic perspective on the evolution of yachting and the timeless beauty of vessels, and the screening of the film “Ocean,” an immersive documentary celebrating marine life while raising awareness about biodiversity preservation.

Located in the heart of Port Hercule, these initiatives combine aesthetics and commitment, appealing both to sea enthusiasts and to lovers of art and environmental culture.
