Ever wondered what the 30,000 a night Princess Grace Suite Hôtel de Paris looks like? Take our in-depth tour as we reveal everything about the Riviera’s best suite; from the rare granite jacuzzi to the spectacular sea views...

It is easy to see why Monaco’s iconic Hôtel de Paris Monte-Carlo was a favoured retreat of the late Princess Grace of Monaco. Over the years, she entertained a steady stream of fellow royals and Hollywood elite at the 5* hotel. She even chose the property’s famous wine cellar in which to celebrate her 20th wedding anniversary to Prince Rainier III. Now, the hotel has decided to honour the Academy Award-winning actress and former Princess of Monaco by creating the Riviera’s most spectacular suite in her name. The much-anticipated reveal of the €30,000 a night (in the low season) Princess Grace Suite Hôtel de Paris marks a milestone in the hotel’s four-year multi-million-euro transformation, which is due to be completed at the end of the year.

Princess Grace Suite Hôtel de Paris: A tour

Vast terraces and spectacular views

Sprawling across the 7th- and 8th-floors, the lavish two-bedroom Princess Grace Suite Hôtel de Paris boasts almost 440 sqm of outdoor space alone. Complete with a private infinity pool with its own wave machine and a unique Jacuzzi crafted from rare granite, the stylish flower-fringed terraces have spectacular 180-degree views of the glistening Mediterranean, Monaco Harbour and, of course, the Palais Princier de Monaco.

A glamorous design

The Princess Grace Suite’s contemporary light and airy décor features a neutral palate with decadent swathes of gold, complemented by floor-to-ceiling windows, precious woods, intricate mother-of-pearl inlays and the finest Carrera marble. For those that need to work there is an office, but really this suite is built for entertaining, with a private wine cellar, three lounges, one living room and a harbour view dining room to show off. At the end of the day, various steam rooms and a sauna await.

The personal touch

Princess Grace is more than just a namesake. The hotel has worked tirelessly to make the Princess Grace Suite Hôtel de Paris a space that the legend herself would have adored. From filling the terraces with Grace roses and the rooms with the blooms that she loved to showcasing her own works and her favourite books, art and poems. Photographs of the much-adored actress and Princess also fill the suite.

The royal treatment

Guests of the Princess Grace Suite Hôtel de Paris will feel like royalty themselves, with an A-team on standby to cater to their every whim; from the personal housekeeper on-hand to unpack to the personal Clefs d’Or concierge team. If you don’t feel like leaving the suite (… well, why would you?), in-suite dining from the hotel’s three Michelin-starred Le Louis XV - Alain Ducasse restaurant is available. In the winter months, retreat to the hotel’s world-class spa, Thermes Marins Monte-Carlo - after all, you have your own private booth on standby. Come summer, a tent at the exclusive Monte-Carlo Beach Club awaits.
